Bought the upgraded unit because it had the high for keeping the coffee hot but I still have to microwave it like I did the old one

I got tired of buying cheap coffee makers every couple of years that all had quirks to them. So I decided it was time to buy a top quality one. I was not disappointed! This unit is fantastic! I have had zero issues with it, it has no quirks. Just a great overall item.

Replaced with the same model after 3 years. This unit does not keep correct time, sometimes running ahead up to 3 hours. Tried resetting per online suggestions with no luck. Also makes gurgling noises after a pot is made and is sitting .

Got this coffeemaker to replace an older model that self-destructed after about 10 years. This one is slower, noisier, and a bit temperamental. The coffee “basket” doesn’t just sit down in the space. You have to physically push it down until it snaps in place. Weird! You cannot make 14 cups of coffee, at least not with the appropriate amount of grounds, without the grounds spilling over into the carafe. I hate grounds in my coffee. I figured out a way to work around this by using less coffee and employing the BOLD setting, which works ok, but coffee is not as good. This shouldn't have to be done to get 14 cups of grounds-free coffee out of a 14 cup coffeemaker. And don’t even try to remove the carafe right after the alert tone goes off, or you will have a mess from coffee still coming out. I usually wait a good 5 minutes. This thing is noisy! It bumps, groans, and hisses for several hours after it has finished dripping. Overall, a disappointing purchase.
