this is the third model like this I have bought. The first one lasted several years (10 or so) and the second one was a bit faulty with the brew interrupt feature crapping out--I had to stop using that feature. But it last a fair amount of time. I eventually had to replace it and that unit lasted barely 2 years when the heating element poohed out. So the quality seemed to diminish

We have been completely satisfied with our purchase of the 14 cup coffeemaker. The speed and quality of the brew is very good. The only drawbacks I have found are emptying the pot into the reservoir during setup can be awkward and the filter basket can lift up slightly when putting the pot in position to brew. This can lead to the stopper button to close and not allow water out of the filter basket causing an overflow. Close attention during setup will prevent this.
