After years of use with no issues my last Cuisinart coffee maker was starting to wear out and I needed another coffee maker. The only brand I looked at was Cuisinart because I was so happy with the last one. One of the things I like about the brand is the directions are basically the same as for my old one. It is easy to operate and brews great coffee.

So far, we are quite disappointed with our new Cuisinart coffee maker. We are only making 10 cups and still, the water/coffee overflows the filter in the basket and therefore the coffee ends up having lots of grounds in it. We are using the proper #4 filters (have used the ones that came with it, and tried two other brands of filters - all with the same result). And, we have double-checked to make sure we are using the proper amount of coffee for 10 cups of water. I can't imagine trying to make a pot with the maximum number of cups - it would probably be undrinkable. This maker may quickly find itself being replaced with something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good coffee, consistently. This beans has always provided the best coffee! I haven't bought a coffee maker in over 10 years. The last two were Cuisinart so it was the brand i went to automatically. Still the best!
