Not heat as usual, so I decided to order another model without the hot water. This functions perfectly well and really keeps the coffee hot on the warming tray. It makes a delicious cup of coffee. I’ve only had it for a month, but so far I’m satisfied and would recommend buying it. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is I have not been able to adjust the coffee ready signal. It is too low

The design improvements from our last Cuisinart device are noticeable. Still makes exceptional coffee, bold as we like it but now keeps it warmer longer and without coffee grounds spilling onto the water filter. More pleased than we expected.

Brews coffee as it should. Controls easy to understand . Nice to have a water level view. Carafe is poorly designed. Cover has to be removed to rinse the pot. Most coffee pot carafes have a swivel cover with thumb hold to hold open.
