Works just as well as my first one. That's why I bought it. Only thing I find a little different is getting the lid off. I always feel it is going to break before coming loose. Otherwise it is great.

Excellent coffeemaker. You can set timer to come on, plenty of coffee for having company or drop ins, differnt levels of coffee strength, and different levels of heat for the pot.
