I appreciate that is is able to make smaller amounts of coffee without quality loss. Part of that is the special button for 1 to 4 cups. I believe the type of filter shape (no big flat bottom) also helps. After having ruined my previous coffee maker by not decalcifying often enough, I also appreciate that this one will prompt me to clean (haven't seen that in action yet). I also like being able to see the amount of water filled in terms of cups. I drink the coffee black without adding cream etc. Then it helps that the machine can be set to keep the coffee warm at a lower temperature. The machine is easy to use. Last but not least: the coffee tastes great!

I love their coffee makers. This newer model has a 'Bold' feature that I use every day. I think it helps when you are only making 1/2 a pot and the coffee doesn't get saturated enough. This feature bring the flavor up to full. I noticed when using their older model (which I also loved) you may need to add additional grounds when brewing 1/2 a pot in order to bring the flavor up to snuff with a full pot.
