This is by far the best coffee maker I have ever purchased. Read some reviews before buying and have to say it is even better than I hoped it would be. User friendly, nice looking & best of all makes really hot coffee! I have had a percolator for years because most coffee makers I have had just do not make coffee that hot. The ability to select for carafe temp on this unit is wonderful & the hot makes it really hot. There are other features of this coffee maker that I really appreciate such as the ability to brew 1-4 C, water filter, the self cleaning of lime build up & the straightforward easy to use functions for programming.

The coffee maker's clock continually gains time and I cannot rely on it to brew at my programmed time. I looked up ways to "reset" it but have had no luck.

This is my 3rd coffee maker. I give my old ones to my family. I love the new color. As with any coffee maker the heating plate, it will rust. You just have to keep in mind to make sure no moisture stays on the plate. Everything else about the coffee pot works great.

My only complaint is that the water seems to flow much faster into the filter area than it flows out into the decanter causing coffee grounds to float up over the top of the filter and get into the decanter.
