This coffee maker definitely improved the taste of my coffee probably due chiefly to the rainshower water dispensing system. The only problems I have are (1) the cup markings on the carafe are extremely difficult to read and (2) for some reason the carafe seems to dispense some coffee down its side when pouring a cup. These two reasons are the bases of the 4 star rating.

After one week of use, the coffee pot has started to “click” incisively after the coffee is done brewing. We have tried to resolve this through cleaning, but this did nothing to help the issue. We’re considering returning this coffee pot as the clicking has become worse with more time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker appears to be well made. The programming is pretty intuitive and relatively easy to set up for auto-on and auto off. Coffee is good. I have two things I am unhappy with.
The lid on the pot does not flip up to put cold coffee from the cup back into the pot. You have to kind of snap the lid off. I end up just trying to pour it pack in through the spout which does not always work without spilling some.
Second, the warming settings to keep the coffee hot are set too high. Even on the Low setting, the coffee has to cool for a while before being drinkable. This would not be a problem if you add cream to your coffee, but I drink it black.

Great product! Its simple to use, the timer to start automatically is awesome! I love waking up to hot fresh coffee each morning. It's easy to clean. I also love the gold filter for when I forget to buy coffee filters.

Easy to use and program. Large capacity. Looks good in the kitchen. Coffee taste is perfect. I’m using the #4 filters and these work best. Temperature is good and hot. Only minor annoyance is the indicator LEDs are bright blue, which is fine during daytime, but would be nice to have dimmer at night.
