Pretty good--Lid and Filter design major objection

Overall, a good coffee maker. I think the lid--which opens only from the front --is a major design flaw.
Also, prefer the basket style filter over the cone filter. But all in all, it makes a decent pot of coffee and
is a nice looking addition to our counter.

This is our 3rd Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker which works great until it doesn’t. The 2 previous coffee makers just stopped working out of the blue and were both replaced under warranty. Also, Cuisinart must have slightly changed their coffee pot/lid because the newer ones tend to drip coffee when pouring.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is a little awkward to fill with water using the carafe as the lid does not open more than 90 degrees. Also coffee spills out of carafe when pouring coffee into cup
