We like and use many Cuisinart products so this one is a new favorite. This coffee maker has several features that we have really enjoyed: adjustable auto off up to 4 hours as we like the 4 hour mode, 14-cup capacity as my wife likes to drink coffee all morning, making "bold" coffee, and setting the heat of the warming plate.

I have owned several Cuisinart products and have always been satisfied with all of them. Lately the K cup coffee makers are not up to par and have had to replace them too often, so I got just a plain coffee pot and have been satisfied to the max. Makes great coffee in no time, easy to use and easy to clean.

Most importantly, this automatic drip brewer makes good-tasting coffee! Beyond that, it is reasonably priced for its feature set. It is easy to use and clean. It can be used with either the permanent filter (provided) or with standard cone paper filters. Looks good on the counter as well.
