Replaced my last "Gevalia" coffee maker which I'd had for many years. Especially like the "bold" feature and ability to program, including temperature. The mesh strainer basket is also nice and eco-friendly.

This coffee maker is perfect. Easy to use and makes good coffee. Love you can control the warming plate. I prefer low, which is hot but not scalding. I did try a maker with a thermal carafe but found it did not keep coffee hot, had to warm refills in microwave and was hard to clean the thermal carafe. So back to this Cuisinart maker.

Makes good coffee. Have not tried the self cleaning yet. I have the older version of this maker, and it lasted 10 years, but the self cleaning did not work.
