I was tired of the Keurig and wanted to get a programmable coffee maker. This was the choice and I am satisfied with it. No more pods for me. Just a nice hot pot of coffee ready when I get downstairs in the morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had a lower cost Mr Coffee that finally died, and replaced it with the Cuisinart. We like the stability and the solidity of the Cuisinart, and it seems to make tastier coffee. The only thing I would change is the basket. I prefer a bowl shaped coffee filter, rather than the V shaped one here. But this is a very minor consideration.

This is the second Cuisinart coffee maker I’ve had. I really like the options available (1-4 cup, bold, delay brew, different after-brewing warming settings), as well as the look of the unit. A great choice.

I have been using this coffee maker for about a month and am very pleased with the job it does. Here are the features that I like most: hot plate with choice of three temperature settings, screen basket that is fine enough that there is no need for a paper filter, 14 cup capacity, “bold” brew setting, and the rather compact size of the machine. I would have given five stars if the cup markings on the carafe were done in black instead of white. The white lines and numbers are hard to see when the carafe is filled with water, which is clear. I would definitely purchase this machine if I had it to do over again.

The machine makes a good cup of coffee. Clock display light is very bright, it should have a dimmer on it. When returning carafe to heat plate, top of carafe frequently catches on spring loaded valve; I’m concerned the valve may break in the future.
