This is without doubt the best coffee maker on the market. If your coffee is important to you and you measure out your water and coffee for perfectly consistent coffee, then this is the last coffee maker you will buy. I get the same exact, perfect cup of coffee every time. Ron

I'm just a regular coffee drinker that likes a good, strong, fresh cup in the morning and this machine provides exactly what I want. The only problem I foresee is that the snaps on to the handle, putting stress on the snap tabs. I live in the desert and just know those are going break off some day, requiring the purchase of a new lid. I failed to investigate how the lid operated before purchasing. My mistake.

Amazing Coffee maker. I have had Cuisinart coffee makers for many years now. I usually replace them when I accidentally break my coffee carafe. I recently broke my last carafe (accidentally dropped it on the floor after using it for about 5 years.) I purchased this model as a replacement. This coffee maker is making the most delicious coffee! My coffee is smooth and not bitter, easy to drink. The coffee maker makes coffee quickly and I absolutely love the BOLD button, which makes a little bit of a stronger coffee brew. The coffee maker has an auto-turn off that will shut off the machine after a certain amount of time. This is a great feature because if you leave the house, you know for sure your coffee maker is off, even if you forget to turn it off. The heating pad keeps the coffee piping hot for as long as the coffee maker is on. The buttons are easy to use, not confusing, even setting the time is easy. The look of the maker is sleek and doesn't take up much counter space. I love that Cuisinart makes high quality, long lasting products. I am very happy with my purchase.

From day one this coffee maker has made a clunking noise while making coffee. We had the same model before and it started making this clunking sound so we cleaned it and it still made the same noise. We gave up on it a bought a new one. As stated the very first time we used it, it made the same sound as the old one. We do not know what to think. Any ideas? I started this after we bought a new house with marble counter tops. Our old house had tile counter tops. Could this be the problem? My ratings below would be entirely positive and high if it were not for this problem.

Purchased this coffeemaker more than 2 years ago. Was replaced under warranty due to leaking water from bottom of coffeemaker. Six months later the replacement coffeemaker started leaking water from bottom of coffeemaker. Cuisinart replaced that one under warranty also. I am now on my third coffeemaker.

Made a strange popping sound toward end of brew cycle, also when I tried the ‘brew pause’ feature, water and coffee leaked on the hot plate below. Returned this and bought a Hamilton Beach which I love !!
