This is a good machine. Just enough bells and whistles without being over the top and complicated. Like the fact that it comes with a water filter, its own filter basket, and it even included cone filters to get you started. Makes HOT coffee, fresh and clean tasting. The only downside is that after brewing, when lifting the lid there is a LOT of built up condensation that puddles outside the machine if you're not careful. Not a huge deal. Good machine for the money. I recommend.

This is a warranty replacement for my first coffee maker that started to leak after a year. Customer service was great overall and I received my replacement quickly. The light on the brew button does not work on the new coffee maker. It's minor enough that I probably won't go through the hassle of returning it, but it is annoying to not know if the coffee maker is on or off. I gave it a low rating due to the poor quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
