overall a good machine with one fault in my opinion. The unhinged plastic top of the coffee pot itself constantly becomes separated from the pot. very annoying and is poorly designed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like that it accepts the #4 cone paper filter. It doesn't collapse while brewing causing a huge mess. I also like the carafe temperature control. The adjustable auto shut-off is a nice feature. Problem: I struggle to find the color white--I must be in a minority without having stainless steel in my kitchen

I like the 14 cup but the basket seems designed for 12 cup. This is the 2nd pot and this one leaks too.
It seems if you leave the top open the condensation drips down the back.
Not smudge proof stainless.

Has a feature to keep the coffee on for 4 hours and the plate at a high temperature which I like. It’s easy to program and doesn’t take up much space on my counter. It’s a 14 cup pot and you can also set it to not beep when it’s done brewing (I wake up much earlier than my spouse). My only complaint is that it’s hard to fill. You really have to maneuver the pot around to get all the water in.
