I found fitting the lid on the carafe can be tricky. Like the option for 1-4 cups. I didn’t get the filter basket down good and almost had a mess. Thank goodness I was only brewing 3 cups.

This model coffee maker has corrected the missing utility and functionality present in the previous model. The water level in the reservoir can be checked via a translucent window in the side. And the clock is now backlit for easier reading and programming.

I’m on my second Cuisinart 14 cup programmable coffee maker. Makes Great coffee. Making Even 4 cups the coffee is rich,delicious and satisfying. My only complaint is pouring the water in the tank. It is very awkward and can’t get the last little bit of water in the tank.

This is our 3rd purchase of this coffee ma actually like the product. We noticed however with this carafe, that the lid is thinner and also that the carafe leaks sometimes between the glass and the plastic covering.

Bought this to replace a very old auto-drip coffeemaker since we broke the glass pot and replacing just that part was not cost effective. This is a good looking product (stainless steel) with standard features and a larger than normal capacity (14 cups). The only disappointment was the gold mesh filter. We found that the brewed coffee was "sludge-like" and there was a lot of sediment in the bottom of the pot. This was true for both pre-ground and whole bean (ground at home) brews. We've switched to paper filters and won't be using the mesh filter.

It works great. Makes a good cup of coffee. I like that it comes with the metal mesh filter. Only thing I do not like is that you cannot adjust how loud the beep is when it's done. It's either on or off. It would be nice to have 3 different tone volumes.
