Overall this is a good coffee maker. However, there are a couple issues that downgraded the stars. First, the beeps when it is done are insanely loud, like hurt my ears loud if I’m in the same room. Second, the sturdiness is not anywhere close to my old Brew Station. But is does make hot coffee.

Excellent coffee maker with large capacity. We like a large pot of bold coffee in the morning and the Cuisinart fills the bill. We had to turn the carafe warmer to low because the default medium was too hot. I like the idea of a permanent filter, but I am not sure of the tradeoff in cost and resources between all the water it takes to rinse it out vs. a paper filter.

Only had a few weeks, but so far, so good. Good and HOT! We got rid of our last not very old unit to get a Cuisinart because we read reviews looking for a unit that would MAKE coffee hot and KEEP coffee hot, because we like our coffee REALLY hot. This one does that! Everything else works great, too. Easy to use, we like the beeper that lets us know when it's done and when it's going off. And that you can turn off that little feature if you don't want to hear it. More expensive than our last unit, but worth it!

I love my new coffeemaker. It is dependable, easy to program and use, and it looks very stylish sitting on my counter. The only downside is not being able to pour all the water from the carafe into the coffee maker. I solved the problem by using a plastic measuring cup to our the water in.

Like this coffee maker. Appreciate the water filter feature. Also like and use the “four cup” adjustment. Burner keeps coffee at perfect temperature, I like the heat adjustment feature.
