Love the fact that it makes 14 cups!! With a coffee loving family we always had to make a second half pot and it was always a pain with everyone trying to leave for work at the same time! This solved it! Now our coffee is ready when we wake up (love programmable coffee makers) and we can all get as much as we want! Some days there is a cup left over but put it in a pitcher in the fridge and that makes an awesome iced coffee!

Can someone explain to me, how you get 14 cups. I measured 8 4oz cups and then filled the coffee pot. The water went to the 13 cup line on my pot. As people use different cup sizes, it would be better to mark the pot with ounces.
