Love the extra capacity .. not the leaking

The Cuisinart drip coffee maker is stylish and looks great. Also appreciate the 14-cup vs. 12-cup capacity. That little extra comes in handy each day at our household. Even though it's brand new, not happy with the small amount of water leakage that occurs EVERY time the coffee maker is filled. At first, thought it might be due to going to/past the MAX fill line ..but it wasn't. Even when staying under the 14-cup line, the machine still leaks. Such a hassle to have to wipe the counter each day after starting a pot. Cuisinart, please resolve this. This coffee maker does not meet your kitchen appliance standards.

Fastest clock ever

The coffee is fine but the clock is faulty. It runs EXTREMELY fast . As in when the unit has been on for 30 minutes, the clock will be two hours which engages the auto off. Not great when part of the reason for buying a coffee maker like this is for the auto brew and auto off features

Terrible design, returned

Bought it for the extra 2 cups to 14 but every time we go that full grounds overflow into carafe making the extra two cups unusable. Everything is black: lid/filter receiver/water tank AND the lip of the pot so even in bright light, you can't tell where you're pouring and given the tank aperture is too small, you have to be stupid careful not to pour into filter. THEN the lid doesn't open far enough so when one is trying to pour the last few ounces out of the pot , into the tank, one hits the lid before the pot tis empty. Ergonomics are abysmal!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overpriced junk

Bought this expecting a product that lived up to the name.
Trouble right from the start! First pot of coffee resulted in grounds in the pot and all over the coffee maker. Thought maybe I did something wrong. Used a paper filter second time! Same result! Started checking things and found that the drip actuator on the basket was not made or installed correctly at the factory! Returned and won’t be buying another product from this company again.

This unit has been disappointing

We have had about 6 Cuisinart Coffee Makers over the years (all the same model). So far this latest unit has been very disappointing. The glass carafe fits so snugly with the filter unit that it is scratching the heat plate. We are also noticing that the filter unit is pushing up the lid on the top of the unit. Lastly, we make a full 14 cup pot daily and the grounds are ending up in the pot because the filter unit is overflowing and pushing the grounds up to the top of the filter unit. I am not sure why this one has been so poor.
I would recommend this to a friend!
