I have always loved the Cuisenart Coffee Maker but switched to another brand. What a mistake! Poor quality (had to replace the carafe 3 times), the k cup feature worked 3 times, and the water reservoir was difficult to clean. Happy to have old faithful back! I love the improvements they made..especially the ability to turn the tone off when the coffee is done. It makes a pot very quickly.

Not sure why they call this a 14 cup brewer. Adding 10 measured scoops of coffee with 10 cups of water causes coffee grounds to go every where after brewing.

This is a replacement unit for us of a unit that we broke. We loved the old Cuisinart Coffee Maker and that is why we purchased the same model again. It makes a delicious pot of coffee time and time again and is easy to use. After trying several other different brands in the past, we highly recommend Cuisinart.

Design flaws, still makes good coffee..

It makes good coffee, however, I think the lead designer or product quality tester must have been on vacation, because a machine for this price tag should not have these design flaws:
1. The decanter’s lip is displaced by the inner black lining; not allowing for all the water to pour out unless you turn the whole thing upside down. Incredibly frustrating.
2. The water level markings on the decanter do not represent the water level markings on the water reservoir. If I fill the decanter to 10, it will fill the machine water reservoir to 9; always filling 1 less - never matching.
It makes good coffee & all other functions work well, but I am not happy with the discrepancies. The design is sleek and clean!
I would recommend this to a friend!
