My last two coffee makers didn't last a year, that's my fault. I bought cheap Black & Decker's but they looked good. So far my Cuisinart 14 cup programmable coffee maker is doing great and makes a good cup of coffee. Get back with me in a year.

I bought this coffee maker because of the guaranteed hot brewing temp. I roast and grind my coffee and a hot brewing temp was the last varriable that i wanted to control. I am very happy with the results. It brews at about 197 to 200 degrees which is supposed to be necessary for optium coffee flavor.

It’s hard to find a 14 cup coffeemaker, and when my old one (different brand) died last month, I replaced it with this one. I use mine in my bed and breakfast and have to reprogram the start time frequently. It’s very easy to use, and makes great tasting, very hot, coffee. Very pleased with my purchase.

Purchased as a replacement for the 12 cup coffee pot that I had for over 7 yrs and gets a good workout. Unfornately nobody had the 12 cup in stock, so we purchased the 14 cup. I was not aware of the new features like the outside water fill gauge, wich is very helpful and the "bold" button which makes the coffee stronger. Like the new layout and lighted buttons, so you can see what settings are being used
