This is my third Cuisinart...the first one died an early death (2 years after purchase), and was replaced at no charge to me. That second one lived about 10 years, but when it died, I tried a Kitchen aid, which made decent coffee but barely outlasted the one year warranty. So I am going back to the Cuisinart...it just makes the best coffee and am hopeful it will live a long life!!! Features are good, too, of course. Carafe gets a little coffee on its lid from either brewing or pouring, not sure, but just a little extra clean up. Otherwise, this is a great coffeemaker. Highly recommend.

So far this coffeemaker does all that I need and I am pleased; it's only 1.5 months old. This is my 3rd Cuisinart in 6 years which seems excessive to have to replace a coffeemaker that frequently. (in general, I find Cuisinart Brand to have a good reputation) My first Cuisinart was my favorite (I forget the model) and lasted a few years before the hot plate would not longer heat. My 2nd Cuisinart, a different model than the first, was my least favorite as it constantly needed "cleaning", coffee tasted burnt, leaked and lasted only 2 years. This model, DCC 3200, resembles my first, has a nice appearance and so far, works fine...I hope it lasts.
