Although its only been a few weeks I love this coffee pot! It makes a hot cup off coffee compared to my previous pot from a different maker. The cone style filter uses less coffee grounds and makes a larger more flavorful pot. Coffee stays fresh in the glass pot for several hours. The timer feature is also very handy. Coffee is ready when I wake up and the pot automatically shuts off several hours later.
Only negative so far is its nearly impossible to fill the water reservoir with the glass carafe with out it dripping all over the counter.

Excellent coffeemaker with 2 little annoyances.

This unit replaced a 4 or 5 year old Cuisinart 12 cup drip machine, which brewed excellent coffee. (Power toggle switch broke. New one has a better designed push button switch.) This new one does the same. No complaints about the excellent, and never bitter at all coffee this machine produces. Being a 14 cup machine, it is, of course, slightly larger than the previous 12 cup coffee maker, and that's good. The previous machine had a relatively small area in which to pour water for brewing. A small thing perhaps, but there were too many times you could miss a bit and water would be on the counter. This one is noticeably larger and it makes things neater. The water issue was also caused by the only other negative issue. The spout on the carafe is cute but not really functional. It should be slightly longer, and definitely deeper to channel the water more precisely so it doesn’t flow out from beyond the spout itself. Sounds insignificant, but it’s not. Unless you pour VERY slowly, it can be a sloppy process. It would be extremely easy to fix but it hasn’t been…same as the last one we had with the same issue. All that is needed is a better design and a little bit more plastic. Other than these 2 little annoyances, it’s an excellent machine and worth the purchase price.

Love the coffee maker with one small exception. The basket drip valve seems to get stuck closed too easily and then the basket fills and overflows making quite a mess. Love the other features of this maker.

I haven’t had it very long, but it’s simple to use and makes very hot coffee, which is all I’m looking for. I have an older kitchen so it just barely fit under the cabinets as it’s taller than a Mr Coffee, but it looks great out where there is no cabinet so problem solved.

This is a great coffeemaker. We bought this to replace a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker that did not last long at all. This one is simple to use and makes great coffee. We found that the recommended amount of coffee made the coffee too strong so we had to experiment a bit with the amount of coffee to use to get it just right.

I had bought another one online to pick up at the store. Through a mistake by the store, my original purchase was not available and I was given the option of 2. I picked the 14 Cup programmable and I am very glad I did. I like the features - choice of 2, 3 or 4 hour post brewing time, choice of heat plate warmth, permanent filter (if you choose); the only thing that I do not like is the removable carafe lid. It does keep the coffee from dribbling; it is just that you need to take off the lid to fill the carafe with water to fill the maker. I am getting used to it, though. Overall, I haven't found
