The is a replacement for the long lasting Cuisinart that finally gave out by leaking. Like the quality of coffee of the new verision. This one gurgles and burps while brewing like the last one did which didn't show up right away. The cover only opens to a vertical position which makes getting the last drop of water in a little difficult.
