This was a replacement for another Cuisinart coffee pot that self-destructed when the water reservoir split. It does make even better coffee than its predecessor but it is by far the noisiest coffee pot we have ever owned. It sputters loudly when making coffee and does it additional times as the condensation in the reservoir builds up and is heated. That is my only complaint. The unit is well made and attractive.

We had to replace our previous Cuisinart coffeemaker (coffee filter holder broke and was not replaceable). We purchased the new 14 Cup 3200 Cuisinart and absolutely LOVE it! It makes coffee than our previous Cuisinart (10 cup) and it keep the coffee steaming hot for 2-3 hours after brewing (glass carafe). It's easy to use and easy to clean. Some have complained how difficulty filling with water. Not a problem. Use a slim 2-4 cup measuring cup, and not the carafe, and it fills easily. We definitely recommend this coffeemaker. Good job!

Nice coffee maker, but beware, it probably will only last two years. ( I should know, I’m on my fourth one in seven years !) They’re cheap enough that replacing them is no big deal, just inconvenient.
