I have bought 'decent' coffee makers in the past, but this is the very best coffee maker I've owned. Several family members own the Cuisinart brand, & I could definitely tell the difference in the coffee taste compared to my old brand. I am so very pleased with my new coffee maker as now my coffee is superb!

I've been a fan of the DC-1200 unit for many years, until it finally died. I replaced it with this model, and I'm even more pleased. Although it seems to take a little bit longer to brew, the coffee seems stronger and hotter than from the old model. Additionally, the slight extra capacity is appreciated.

We bought this after switching from a kcup machine as we drink a lot of coffee and using one after the other is a pain, plus the coffee taste much better in a pot. Love that this makes 14 cups. Great easy to use coffee maker!!!

Bought it about three weeks ago. I had an older model that worked great. My mom had my old one but it finely broke after about 8 yrs. Gave her mine and bought this one. Makes great coffee and is very well made.

Upgraded from old 12model but coffee does brew hot

Old 12 cup unit always spilled coffee with grinds out of filter when brewing 12 cups. This model can brew 12 cups without spilling over. Does not brew hot enough for people who enjoy a hot cup of coffee. Why can't engineers figure out how to make a hot cup of coffee?
