I bought this about a month ago & it works fine. Only thing I found is that it makes a lot of noise when it is done brewing & way before the timer which shuts it off in 2 hours. Carafe is heavy when filled with water so hard to pour water in to make the coffee in small area to pour it.

This is my second Cuisinart coffee maker. My first Cuisinart lasted 7 years. My new 14 cup programmable Cuisinart makes good hot coffee. Love it! I can always rely on Cuisinart products.

Followed consumer reports, and not disappointed. The bold or mild setting is nice bonus feature, and the coffee is awesome. Of course Im grinding my own beans and using reverse osmosis water, but.. The only drawback I would note is filling the reservoir can be awkward if using the carafe, as the lid does not give enough room to pour all the water out easily. But use a hose or faucet extension and no problem. Definitely recommend

I was hoping i would like this coffee pot because it had good reviews. Unfortunately not from me. Every time I tried to pour coffee into my cup, the coffee came out all over counter. Same when my husband tried. Even the lid did not close tightly which made it dangerous. Perhaps pot is defective but i had to buy a new machine and throw this one away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good coffee maker. I have had no issues with it so far after 6 months. The only problem I have is that it takes a while to brew a whole pot. It takes longer than my old Cuisinart.
