I like everything about this coffeemaker, especially the option to brew 1-4 cups and the 5 beeps when coffee is ready. Brew strength and warming plate options give more choices. Haven't had it long enough to use the clean option but like that the clean light comes on when it needs cleaning. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Great Coffee maker with some minor annoyances.

I really have loved this coffee maker but there are a few things that bother me. The reservoir for the water can be difficult to fill up because of it's placement. When you open the top to fill the water and replace the coffee filter the condensation on the lid runs down the back of the machine straight onto the power cord and onto my counter every single time. It took me longer than it should have to figure out why my counter top was wet every time I slid it out to set it up for the next day. The loud beeping when it's done brewing a pot or when it's turning off seems excessive. I don't need 5 loud beeps to know it's done brewing. We've also had to cover the clock and the buttons with electricians tape when people stay over because they are so bright. Other than those issues which are not huge problems I still like it. It's nice looking and is easy to program.

The only negative I would have on on this coffeemaker would be filling the reservoir with the carafe. You have to angle the carafe awkwardly to insure all the water is going to make it without spillage. The fill opening is in the back and the lid is an obstacle.

THE ONE ISSUE THAT IS NEW FOR ME IS THE WAY THE COFFEE LID IS FIRMLY ATTACHED TO THE BASE. I'M ACCUSTOMED TO PRESS DOWN TO OPEN AND PORE THE COFFEE OUT FROM THE GLASS BOWL. IT'S OKAY BUT DIFFERENT FROM THE ONES I'VE USED BEFORE.

I had a Cuisinart coffeemaker (with grinder) before this. This one makes better coffee because of the cone-shaped filter and the Bold selection. I’ve used the 1-4 cup mode a lot; although it’s slower, it allows the water to sit with the grounds longer for a better cup of coffee. My only concern is making 14C/full pot of coffee—I hope the grounds don’t overflow the basket.

We purchased this coffeemaker because itis a 14 cup coffeemaker and has lots of features. The main feature that we were interested in was the temperature selection. We like our coffee really hot! We also like the charcoal water filter, so that the coffee taste fresh, every time. The coffeemaker is also programable, it has an audible alert when coffee is ready, it has a indicator light that appears when it needs cleaning, a bold strength for stronger coffee selection button...so many features,and has a permanent (eliminates the need for paper filters)filter basket. And all this comes with a 3 year warranty! We liked ours so well, we purchased 2 more -to give to our grown children for Christmas.
