I love my new Cuisinart Precision Mixer. It seems to suction to the counter top so it won't slide around. The only thing I don't like and I will have to get used to is I cannot scrape the bowl when the mixer is on. Not enough room for my rubber spatula to scrape food from the side of the bowl. Other than that, I love it.

Beautiful machine; however mixer blades don't come close enough to edges of bowl, so you need to scrape the sides often. Also, the chrome-looking cover on the front is a cheap plastic that comes off with simple siping down the machine.

My Kitchenaide of 30+ years finally decided to retire and was only working on the highest gear. I requested a new one for Christmas and unfortunately my husband (given its STAR rating on amazon) bought me a Cuisinart instead.
I was happy that it was lighter weight than my Kitchenaide and it was a very nice looking mixer. Unfortunately that was the end of my liking if the mixer.
When turning on the mixer I was unimpressed with the dial of the mixer being plastic. It lighting up upon powering it up was neat. The attachments are not very sturdy/hefty as my kitxhenaides were.
I begin my first batch of cookies...ugh. The paddles are definitely not suited to the size of the bowl. I found myself constantly having to scrape the sides of the bowl. The head isnt up far enough nor tilts back far enough to be able to accomplish this without removing the paddle. Also note the paddle doesnt reach the bottom of the bowl either so you literally have to do alot of mixing by hand. Totally defeats the purpose of having a mixer.
The mixer sems to have adequate rubber tabs on the bottom of it; however, when you power it up you would swear it was blasting off into outerspace. It vibrates something fierce and literally shook everything not tied down on my counter.
Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I thought "Maybe I just got a rotten egg" ; however, upon reading many many reviews, others complained of the very same issues.
I decided then to return the mixer instead of exchanging.
Cuisinart is a well known trademark and in past years known for quality. I would definitely suggest taking these reviews to heart and making some changes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought it to my 17 years old daughter who likes cooking. She only spent 5-10 minutes to make the dough of the bread by using this mixer. She loves it so much.

The power is good, the noise level is also good, I like the looks and appreciate the container capacity. I performs well whisking, and acceptably mixing or kneading.
However, the shape of the dough hook tends to grab all the dough and spin it without kneading as effectively as it should. Also, the mixer head tends to jump too much even when mixing a high hydration dough, I often end up placing my hand on top of the mixer while kneading, it seems to make it work better. A little more weight would make it way more stable.
Overall I'd say it works quite well, and it's a great option from a cost/benefit perspective. Fixing the details mentioned would make it great overall.

None of the attachments reach to the bottom of the mixing bowl making it difficult to properly mix all ingredients. The adjustment screw to fix this is immovable.
