I bought this mixer a few weeks back for bread making and I have used it many times since. I am new to bread making and to using a stand alone mixer. I learned two things right away. First, do not try to use a spatula to move the dough down the sides of the bowl while the mixer is running. I found bits of my spatula in the dough and had to throw it all away. Secondly, I found the motor overheating and that if I put some pressure on the top of the mixer the engine seemed to cool and to sound quieter and more efficient.
The mixer is heavy but not so heavy that I cannot easily lift and carry it to my cabinet where it rests. It is gorgeous and the attachments are simple to remove and attach and clean. All in all, I definitely would buy this appliance again.

Always wanted a stand mixer, but never bought one. After years of working with my hands, it was just too hard, using a hand mixer with stiffer doughs. I am so happy I finally bought this! Easy to use, & I have made different doughs & they all turn out great with so little effort on my part!

I love my new stand mixer. I love all the features about it. I make sour dough bread and it has made my life so much easier. Hand mixing the dough was hard and the mixer has it done in no time flat. I love the shields that attach to the bowl to prevent splatters. That is a plus factor with this mixer. Love love love it.
