My Cuisinart mixer has been working very well. I not only use it for mixing bake batter but I recently used it with the dough hook to mix up several meat loads at one time this saved me having to do it all by hand. Love my Cuisinart mixer.

I had a more expensive, heavier stand mixer. I took it back. I love this Cuisinart. it is light, quiet, and does the job very well. It was a joy to use the first time and I cant wait to put it through the paces when I make homemade New York Cheesecake. I would recommend this product to everyone.

It has a powerful Cuisinart motor, as expected. Sturdy and quite heavy, so you need to keep in on the countertop. Easy to use and nice design.
That said, my old GE stand mixer from 1975 that finally died, had two features that I wish this one had: 1) it came with two bowl sizes, a large bowl and a smaller medium sized bowl. That was great! There appears to be only one bowl size with this Cuisinart stand mixer; and 2) you have to stop the motor to scrape down the sides of the bowl. My GE old stand mixer was easy to scrape down while running because the base where the bowl sat spun (in addition to the beaters). If I can find another stand mixer with that feature, I will buy it and sell this one.
I suspect that this Cuisinart will last a life time!
