The Cuisinart stand mixer is has clean, sleek lines and has received compliments on its appearance. It does a good job on everyday jobs like cookies, mashed potatoes, cakes, frostings and egg whites. I have not tried the dough hook yet. It is lighter and not as powerful as the Kitchenaid, but I don’t need the extra power and the price point is great. Sometimes the paddle does not scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl sufficiently and it moves around a bit. Otherwise it would receive a 5.

I love my new mixer! I don’t know why I waited so long to upgrade from my “two beater oldie.” Mixing was so thorough and ended with a well mixed batter. No mess with the splatter shield which I never had with my old mixer. The entire process seemed much more efficient and faster. Clean-up was easy too. I would definitely recommend this mixer.

It's a great mixer. The only reason I gave it four stars, and not five, is because the mixing whisk doesn't reach to the sides or bottom of bowl so, food doesn't mix completely and I'm having to constantly stop it to scrape the sides. It's quite frustrating.
