Always wanted a stand mixer and leaned toward KitchenAid. However, after researching KitchenAid vs. Cusinart, the Cusinart 5.5 Quart Stand Mixer was the runaway winner. Not only was it considerably less expensive, but has a three year warranty as compared to one year. My use, so far, has been confined to bread dough, by I must say I’m thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

Have used my mixer several times since getting it for Christmas and absolutely love it. It handles all the different batters and doughs I have tried. I feel this is as good or better than the expensive name brand (you know which one!). The only down side I see is that Cuisinart doesn't offer multiple attachments or different style bowls for their mixer. That would be the only recommendation I would make to the manufacturer. I would highly recommend this mixer to any cook or baker out there, you will not be disappointed.

I was so excited to get this machine, I have always wanted a stand mixer. But, the blades don’t reach the bottom of the bowl. All it does is push the food down and does not mix. So I have to continually scrape the bowl after only a matter of seconds. Otherwise it doesn’t mix. Very frustrated with it.

I’ve had my Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5-Quart Stand Mixer for a few months now. I got it in red and it’s beautiful. I mainly got it because I was tired of burning up my hand mixers making divinity. I use it all the time. Very handy. Great performance. Absolutely no complaints!
