Only used twice so far but works well. The only issue I am running into is the smell of the motor heating after about 15-20 seconds. Not sure if it's because it's new but it did it on even the low speed. I had to stop a few times for a couple seconds while I was whipping cream. Other than that I love it.

I bought this mixing stand when my hand mixer burned up on Christmas eve. A daycare parent gifted me with money for Christmas and so i splurged on this for myself and I've used it weekly since then! I've always loved the customer service of cuisinart so i chose this over the kitchenaid and will never regret it.

I purchased this mixer to replace my 30 year old Kitchenaid mixer. I was impressed with the idea of the motor horsepower. It turns out that while it has a very heavy duty motor, the speeds on the mixer lack any ooomph. It takes longer to beat egg whites to stiff peaks, and whipping cream takes even longer. It is a good strong motor for kneading bread though, so maybe it's a trade off. After using the same mixer for so long, it may just take a while to get used to, and adjust times, etc.
