Looks aren't everything.

Appearance is great, function not so much. The burners have 'clicked' since initial purchase whenever set low or on 'simmer.' Just after the warranty, the oven stopped heating. Had igniter replaced. I am now again replacing the igniter. Appliances just aren't built like the old ones. The 1980's oven I had in my home prior to remodel never once gave me trouble.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
