Had these for about 5 months now. Fantastic at the beginning best headphones Ive ever purchased, but about 3 months in the anc messed up and the right ear cup started screeching, by then, my wife had bought the plus and hers did the same thing within 2 months. Now theres constant static in the right earcup that wont go away unless i disable the anc entirely.
I bought this set of headphones almost a month ago and absolutely love them. I had the HD 4.5 wireless headset that lasted me for 5 years before they finally fully broke. And needed an update. And these work fantastically as such. The only difference is that they don't have a side button that let's you scroll up and down between songs which the 4.5 had. But other than that love it!
Regret this purchase. Software experience is atrocious. Replacement ear pads are seemingly impossible to come by in the US and the EU. I had an pxc 550 before, and these are my last Sennheiser ever.
Just two caveats that can be fixed through updates

Christmas gift from my dad who is a longtime Sennheiser user. These headphones follow the diffused compensation downslope signature better than the Harman target, which is an objectively good thing. An objectively more natural signature will sound “natural” relative to any unique hearing profile, thereby avoiding hearing damage. These headphones are a good step towards this, especially with the added assistance with the EQ. Only thing I see lacking in the EQ is that I’d much rather have there be a “professional” mode where I can see the lines and frequencies I’m adjusting on levels greater than just 6 to -6db.
Probably the only physical caveat to these headphones that can be fixed through firmware updates is that they don’t quite get loud enough, especially with the bass boost activated. I also noticed many volume inconsistencies between tracks and genres, to which I believe can also be fixed through firmware updates.
Otherwise, these budget headphones are going to be my most glad daily drivers until the next best thing comes out.
For price very nice product. wired mode is available trough USB-C what many don't know here. They are a bit quieter on bluetooth on android. On MAC with bluetooth much louder and on PC with USB-C even more. Sound quality is excellent, only downside is that ANC is average but not bad for price. For me more than enough. I can compare them with Audio-Techinca ATH-M50X. Similar sound quality but better bas. AT has larger drivers for people with large head but they get warm and they are pretty heavy. If you want full quality use them trough USB-C.
