very nice headphones

I have had these for about three weeks now and it was apparent right out of the box that these headphones are a step up from the pxc 550-II that I have been using for several years now.
The Momentum 4 is a more dynamic wider range headphone than the pxc-550 is. I find the Momentum 4 more comfortable and has a higher quality feel to it. That is not to say that the pxc 550 felt cheap or anything like that. But the Momentum 4 does feel like a higher quality build. I have not messed with the app as of yet, the headphones sound and work great from the start.
using the factory settings for sound and noise suppression, The Momentum 4 out performs the pxc 550. The bass is a little more forward than I Sennheiser headphones typically are in my experience. But is is not over powering or anything like that. and I find it pleasant for the kind of listening that I often do. and the noise suppression is very good. I haven't used them for phone conversations yet, but I am guessing it will be a good experience as well. And the battery life is great. I have yet had to charge this headset. and I have used them quit a bit. I would have had to charge my other set at least once over the same time period.
The one thing that took a little getting used to was that the Momentum 4 doesn't have an off switch built into the head set so that when you turn the ear pieces to the side, the head set turns off like the pxc 550 did. Instead, with the momentum 4 you have to either use the power button on the side or put them in their carrying case. I find putting them in the case is the easiest for me and is probably a good practice anyway. Just something different is all.
If you are looking for a good performing pair of Bluetooth headphones, these are very good. sound is great, noise suppression works very well. And great battery life to top it off. Comfortable to wear for extended periods and has a nice carrying case. The charging cable is included but no charger.

Unimpressed and let down

Wildly unimpressed! I thought these would be comfortable,I thought they would have great sound and unfortunately they are mediocre at best. I can’t wear these things for more than an hour without terrible discomfort. You really let me down.

Sound is great but functionality is poor. I turn off the touch controls and next time I use them they are turned on again. The power on/off/pair mode functionality is a little tricky too.

I really like these headphones. Bluethooth is technology is getting to be amazing. The sound is smooth and not fatigueing.
setup right theres plenty of volume.
Get the app.Dont always have to use phone. I use my Hi-res Sony NW-A55.

Love them so far! I’ve heard about issues with durability of the fabric wrapping but nothing so far for me. Wonderful battery life and sound quality. Any connection issues between devices are easily remedied by turning Bluetooth off for those devices.

After a lot of consideration with a bunch of different headphones, I finally decided on the Sennys. They're hands down the best sounding cans I've ever had the pleasure to use, and they work well with about any sort of genre. The app itself is fairly simple and easy to use, and after the recent firmware updates it's sqeaky clean and free of bugs. As for comfort, headphones can be a mixed bag, especially since I wear glasses. But these ear pads...they're like clouds. Perfectly comfy with just the right amount of cushion. The entire thing feels premium and 60 hours of ANC music playback is no joke. If you've got some extra cash to spare and want to hear your music in crystal clear quality, give the Mimentum 4's a shot.

Uncomfortable experience

Great sounding product overall putting them on for the first time was awesome but not even 10mins of using I started to get a slight headache I thought it was me from not putting them on properly but it was the headphones. I have a pair of Bose qc35 and they feel less tight on the head since they don’t pressure on your ears and they feel more relaxed the moment 4. I was really looking forward to some sennheiser’s but they weren’t for me.

Over the past decade I’ve owned headphones from Bose, Sony and now Sennheiser. The Momentum 4 is the replacement for Sony MX-4. The sound quality of the Momentum 4 is much better than Sony. It’s very natural. Making phone calls under the windy conditions is much easier since it suppresses the wind effect very effectively. The only complaint I have is with the ANC which isn’t anywhere near the effectiveness of the Sony.
