So far I really love my new cooker. I have used the roast, slow cook, and sauté modes to cook stews, soups, chicken and a variety of meals . It works like a charm and it is one of the few slow cookers that lets you brown things first which really comes in handy. I bought the seven quart which is large enough to feed 6-7 people. It does get very hot on roast so you have to watch the temperature. You won’t regret your purchase!

Cuisinart comes through with the great appliance. I have had it for 3 weeks and have used it at least 2 - 3 times a week. Heats up in 5 - 7 minutes to 500 degrees to roast or brown. After slow cooking on low, you don't have to remove the juices to another pan on the stove to make the gravy. Just turn the setting to brown/saute and 350 degrees. It heats up in about a minute and you can make your gravy. It is a little pricey but worth every penny. Solidly built. Heavy stainless steel outside and heavy duty stainless steel handles so it is sturdy to take it when full to a pot luck, etc.

After using this Multicooker for several months, and numerous times, I find it to be an excellent product. I most always use the brown/sauté function for meat and vegetables such as onions. I love this feature. The slow cook function is terrific. Being able to set the temperature for browning and the timer for slow cooking are very useful. Cleanup is a breeze. I’ve encountered no scratches to the pot itself; I always use bamboo or plastic utensils. The retractable power cord is a real plus. I couldn’t be happier with this slow cooker.

Received the cuisinart 7-Quart Multicooker as a Christmas gift from my daughter. Just love the fact that I can sear & roast or sauté & slow cook, etc all in one pot, very convenient and easy to use. This is my second Cuisinart Multicooker and is the second most important appliance (Cuisinart coffee pot is 1st). So easy to brown my meats and then add vegetables and sauce for a ready made meal at the end of the day. My only wish is that the pot coating lasted longer. No matter how careful I am, the coating wears and went through two pots before deciding to buy a new cooker. Gradually replacing all my appliances with Cuisinart - products can’t be beat.
