Whether it's retractable power cord, the uniformly heating non-stick insert, the large functional controls and display, or the dual easy to grab handles on both the insert and the unit itself... every aspect of this machine was designed to address the inconveniences and nitpicks I've had with other lesser crockpots. I especially appreciate the searing function that allows the pot to reach temps of 500⁰, allowing you brown your meats before slow-cooking without having to dirt another pan. A truly excellent product.
