I used it once on a 2.5lb pot roast on low for 8 hours and needed 2 more hours. So 10 hours for a small roast. Not good. I used it again on a 2.5lb roast on high for 4 hours. The meat was not tender so i threw it in the oven, which is what I'll be doing from now on and save this overpriced thing for beans.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Died after 6 years of use! Not a happy customer! Not worth the money. My parents cheap cooker is still working for over 20 years now.

I replaced my crockpot after 20 years. The quality of this slow cooker is not the quality I thought it would be for the price. The outside seems cheap. It looks like it will dent easily.
