I'm a side sleeper and I recently purchased this pillow. My neck pain has reduced significantly, I would definitely would recommend giving this pillow a try!
At first, I wasn't sure I'd like it because it was so different from what I normally like. I normally prefer a pillow with no real form, down-filled, something that can be manipulated to the position I want without fighting against me to spring back into shape. The Ghost pillow doesn't really fit that description in that it's kind of like a big flat squishy cold memory foam brick. The odd thing is that it doesn't fight to go back to its preferred shape. I'm a stomach/side sleeper, and it supports that position well, but I've also noticed that it's helped me to begin back-sleeping more comfortably too. I can't really explain why. If you keep contact with i all night, it isn't "cooling" by itself, it is cold to the touch initially, but it will gradually warm up as it keeps contact with a warm body. The one negative I can say is the smell initially. My wife says it smelled like lavender, but it was really strong for a few days, then subsided.
I bought 2 last year along with my queen mattress and absolutely love them both. I put both in my RV and had to buy another set of pillows for my house... by far the best pillow ever, and I have tried a bunch, even 1that was believe it or not more expensive.. can’t go wrong with the GhostPillow, in my opinion..
I would happily have given the pillow 5 stars except for one thing-the smell of lavender the pillow is permeated with is EXTREMELY strong and has not disapated in the time I have owned the pillow. The pillow is pretty much perfect otherwise. Those sensitive to perfumes or strong odors will have issues with this pillow unless an unscented version is made available.
