This pillow does as advertised: it's quite a bit cooler than any "memory foam" products I've tried before. For anyone who likes sleeping cooler, it's a very comfortable way to fall asleep.
If I had to critique it, I'd say it gets a bit flat by morning. It progressively gets more dense as you leave your weight on it and has a pretty long "memory" or restorative period. For side sleepers, it can be a bit annoying to have the pillow be half as thick in the morning as it was at night.
The purchasing and shipping process was simple and quick. The mattress was easy to set up and didn't have much of smell, even the first night. For me the mattress is too firm, I am a side sleeper under 140 pounds. My partner heavy, back sleeper, likes the firmness just fine. But I will have to add a topper to be comfortable. I was very disappointed with the pillows for one reason, that giant embroidered logo! You can feel it through the pillowcase, its hard and scratchy so basically you can only use one side.
The first night on the Ghostbed I ended up falling sleep much quicker than usual. Im talking a deeeep sleep. On my old beds I would never get to that level of sleep. I would constantly toss turn and have to get up to stretch or use the bathroom.
I slept deeply for 12 straight hours THE FIRST NIGHT.
One thing I easnt expecting was to feel so much pain as my body adjusted to a real suportive bed. I could feel every pressure poit and injury that I had come to ignore from my old mattresses. By night 3 i qas getting deep sleep, and my injuries were healing up. Including one I was going to get surgery for.
I’ve bewn trying different types of pillows and Ghostbed has the softest pillows around. They’re not too soft where your head just falls right to the mattress but they’re firm enough to hold shape. I really do enjoy his Pillow and would recommend it to anyone!
Pillows are comfortable and low enough for any sleeping position. Slight smell that dissipates after a day. Only negative is I think that are a little bit overpriced.
