What's the odor?

I bought this pillow for my husband. He couldn't use it because of the odor. He gave it to me (the odor doesn't bother me quite as much as it bothers him) and while I generally like it, it's too thick even for a side-sleeper.

It's the most difficult thing trying to find a pillow that is great for what you are wanting. The provided pillow casing provides a nice cooling feeling and the pillow is not super soft and not hard as a rock. I find a cool pillow with a good supportive amount of firmness to help me sleep. Best money I have ever spent on a pillow. I just may upgrade my mattress to a GhostBed to fully complete my bedset.

Skeptical at first - but no more

I bought two of the pillows from a Groupon (as I assume most have), and was a bit cautious. It seemed like a lot of money, but when compared to other solid foam pillows, it was comparable. However, these pillows are more than just solid foam. They are my new gateway to dreamland. I absolutely love them, they haven't lost shape after nearly a month, and they are perfect for someone like me who sleeps on their side more than on their back. No more shoulder or neck pain when I wake in the morning is a definite plus. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the 'cooling' feature doesn't seem to last very long, but I'll take a good night's rest over that every time.

I’m very picky with pillows, so I kept going back and forth if I should really take a chance and buy the Ghostbed pillow. Glad I did! I really like the feel of the pillow as well as comfort. The smell was very offputting for a while, but it has mostly dissipated and doesn’t bother me anymore. I would have given the full 5 stars if the pillow was thicker. I think it truly needs another 2-3 inches of foam inside and it would be perfect. A few more inches of foam and it would be even more comfy.
