Measured between seams when fully extended, the height is 18.5 not 20"; the width is 12.5 not 14"; and the maximum depth, at the bottom, is 9 not 10" (the pack is not as deep at the top as at the bottom). The weight is a couple of ounces heavier which is less significant. The pack will be adequate for my purposes but I would have appreciated having the extra space indicated by the advertised size.

Received this bag a few days ago, but it already seems like it'll work great. There's plenty of space inside the bag. For me, it fit 5 notebooks, a decently sized pencil case, a laptop, lunch without looking overstuffed. The straps are comfortable once you've been wearing it for a few minutes. An added plus is that the bag stands up straight without being propped up on something. Overall, this backpack seems like it's well-made and durable compared to more expensive brands.

Was looking for a big backpack to fit all my textbooks for school. Overall the quality is good and the backpack is very spacious. I do wish that they had kept the small pouch on top (like all the other High Sierra backpacks) to put cell phones or small accessories in.
