[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The slimShady is awesome !! It was really easy to install! You would need two people for the installation. If you follow the directions it will be very easy to do it. It would take you approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The material looks durable and of good quality. The size is just fine! I installed on my 4 runner and it looks just right! I also love its design and color! I love how it looks and most importantly, now I can go and have a good time under the shade !! I recommend it to anybody who loves cars, off-road, camping adventures! It is very easy to use, it takes me approximately 1 minute to set it up and 1 minute to put it away!! I just love it!!

Easy shade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Arizona where the sun shines down pretty strong, even in seasons other than summer. I use to haul around an EZ-Up in the back of my 4runner but it would take up a bunch of space and be a pain to setup. This Yakima awning is the perfect solution. Getting it installed on my 4runner crossbars was a breeze with the help of my wife, probably took about 20 minutes. The awning is the perfect size and provides ample shade. Setting up the awning is easier if you have a friend, but can be done with one person but is a little more challenging. The aluminum bars hold the tarp in place, and stable to the ground. If it’s windy or rainy you can cinch down the awning tarp with the supplied lines and stakes. Then when you’re all done it’s easy to put back into its provided supper pouch! Love it for quick shade!

Definitely going to be using a lot this summer for camping it’s so convenient and easy to use and put up would recommend if you are looking for something like this to go camping definitely a keeper

My husband practically jumped up and down when I told him about Influenster giving me this vehicle canopy, he is restoring a 1960's VW bus and was planning on purchasing a canopy for his surf trips. We are very impressed by the quality of this product! This canopy is 42 square feet(6'5"x 6'5") and is made from 420D nylon fabric with a polyurethane coating making it durable and waterproof. The SlimShady is easy to pitch and is self contained within a zippered canvas bag. This awning locks to your vehicle and comes with 2 sets of keys, 2 mounts, 2 guy lines and stakes, and 1 hardware bag with all the tools needed to attach it to your existing roof rack.
The SlimShady is a quality product for a great price of $389.

Challenging to set up but seemingly durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like it more if it wasn’t so difficult to set up! I tried putting this together with a friend, after an hour and a half we gave up. We will continue to work on this, and when it’s figured out I can update the review. I thought that the shade would be lighter, but durability over ease of setting up is proffered. The shade is very thick and it seems like it will do a fantastic job of providing shade for fun summer weekend getaways.
