[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charge 5 is an awesome speaker. I like the wireless feature, it connects to the JBL app easily to join my wireless network. I can cast from apps on my phone (primarily YouTube Music), instead of connecting to Bluetooth which is always a pain. It has top notch sound like all JBL products, rich bass, clear mids and highs. I also like that it will charge my phone so it doesn’t die on me. Great speaker, highly recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great speaker! I’ve been searching for a couple of years for a portable speaker that supports airplay and has the right mix of bass, sound quality and portability. This is the one. Great sound, can get really loud and it’s easy to throw in the car.

Better sound

I bought a second unit because I found it is sounds better than the bluetooth version. For me it was a learning curve how to pair with my existing network. Pairing is slower than the previous version but the quality and flexibility of the speaker make worth it.
In the negative side, it is a lot scammers selling this product on line. I know it is not JBL fault but you need be aware where you buy and be sure it is the wifi model

Great Portable and Sound

I have a couple of these. I use them by the pool, when out on the boat, when playing a round of Disc Golf, pretty much everywhere I need toons. I can connect it to my phone, or even have connected it to my record player and it sounds great.

Appropriate name "charge" because that's what you'll be doing, constantly. The early charge speakers batteries lasted wayy longer. Everything just keeps getting cheaper... sound is good and looks cool so there's that.

Thanks for your feedback. It is possible that the battery of your JBL Charge 5 WiFi is losing its capacity. However, it is also possible that the battery is working correctly but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. For further assistance, please contact us.

Great Sound!

Great sound in a little package! The slightly larger woofer and Bluetooth 5.3 that the Charge 5 Wi-Fi provides is better than the regular Charger 5 which has a slightly smaller woofer and Bluetooth 5.1. It delivers rich defined bass. Love it!
