Good spray for someone who bathes a pet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is honestly not my favorite Waterpik product. I received it for free to review.
The shower head is wall mounted which is okay but not my preference. I like a handheld head instead, but I went ahead and tried this one because it has a handheld wand. The wand is good for hair washing and has great pressure. My kids really liked this feature as well.
Unfortunately, the wand isn't good for anything except hair washing because the spray is a single line of jets and is very powerful. I thought that more powerful would be better, but the wand is so powerful that it actually kind of hurts the skin aside from the scalp.
This shower would be good for someone who regularly bathes a pet I think, but I didn't find it that great for normal showering.

Great Showerhead with Options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Waterpik BodyWand Spa System for a month now and have been quite pleased. There are 4 spray settings on the shower head that are easily changed by rotating the outer ring. Each setting provides a different water experience and has wonderful water pressure. The removable Body Wand has 3 water intensity settings that are changed by the sliding button on the handle of the Body Wand. There is a knob on the left side of the Shower Head to alternate between the Shower Head and the Body Wand. I have shoulder length hair and although the Body Wand did a good job of rinsing out my shampoo & conditioner, the Shower Head itself did just as well on 3 out of the 4 settings and it is much easier to have both my hands free. However, the water pressure on the Body Wand is incredible and I have used it to "power wash" my razor and think it would be great for other household items that need a water wash. I think it would also be super convenient to use for washing pets or for washing a child's hair over the edge of the tub.

Knob to alternate between Shower Head & Body Wand is too high for shorter individuals (I am 5'1" and had to stand on my tiptoes)
Regular "squeak" from water pressure in the Shower Head
No option on the Body Wand to turn it completely off temporarily when on the Body Wand setting.
Awkward to maneuver the Body Wand for hair when showering

Please note that completely shutting off or restricting the flow rate to less than .5 GPM at the shower head can allow scalding water to briefly burst out of the shower when the flow rate is returned to full flow mode. This is due to the hot water rising to the top in the shower wall pipe. Plumbing regulations prohibit the option for allowing the shower head to completely restrict the flow of water.

Excellent showerhead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this product for a new bathroom installment. Glad we did. It can be used for all the occupants in the home with ease and is the best I've used in all settings including hotels . Would buy again over others from big box stores.

really innovative product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical about the body wand part of this system. That was unnecessary as it's a really neat feature. The head massage feels really good and I like the choices of settings on the wand- the highest of them has a great pressure and is quite invigorating! I noticed this system conforms to the most recent low flow regulations in the insert though you don't really notice at all in the shower. The pressure is great and the options on the head cover everything you could need. It looks far more complex than it is and installation was easy. Use the tape they include. I did but not enough in certain areas and had to redo things to get rid of minor leaks. I also like that there are lots of metal parts to this so it certainly seems like it will last much longer than a typical shower head or system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Versatile Wand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are some discrepancies in the installation instructions and while the description says "3-Way Diverter" it actually is 2-Way. Shower control upside down; shower head must be tightened after it is positioned so that the head selector can be used (5 positions). Hand wand works well (3 positions). Water in hose very cold when using it but does warm up eventually. Directions good as soon as I figured out that the diverter value was upside down. Message spray settings require full water pressure to be effective. I found that the hand wand was most useful due to 6 foot height when rising myself off. While directions indicate needing an adjustable wrench, I found pliers worked much better. Special thanks for the teflon tape as I didn't have any!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t care for the heights of the head. Should be adjustable to go higher. The wand and the pulse on the head seem to be better fitted to an enclosed shower. A lot of water splashed out of the curtained area. Most setting is not real functional. My last tested fixture was much better with same almost functions but less splashing.

Love the Wand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the things I desire in a show head is a strong spray. This has just that. Spray was strong but not biting. I love the wand for rinsing my hair. Feels good and keeps the snarls down.
