Improves Water Output

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Waterpik Powerpulse® showerhead for approximately six weeks. The showerhead offers some useful features that improve your bathing experience. However, most of the six spray settings, three feature Optiflow® technology, are unnecessary and leave a lot to be desired.
Installation: The installation process is as simple as it gets. Follow the clearly written, simple instructions and your new fixed showerhead should be installed in about two minutes.
Water Output: As promised, this showerhead does increase water output. When the Powerpulse Massage® settings are in use, the showerhead improves waterflow by 30% compared to my previous showerhead.
Six Settings: The spray setting dial is easy to use. You can switch between setting using one hand.
1) “Water-saving trickle” setting does not produce a trickle. When this setting is applied, water flow stops completely.
2) “Powerspray™ + Powerpulse Massage®” setting does not provide a spray wide enough to cover the entire body nor a spray powerful enough to soothe sore muscles. However, it does improve water flow.
3) “Full Body + Powerpulse Massage®” setting does deliver a spray wide enough to cover the entire body. For reference, I am 5’3 and approximately 115 pounds. However, the massage technology didn’t help alleviate post-workout soreness.
4) “Powerspray™” setting does a fantastic job washing out shampoo and conditioner. It took about 30 seconds to rinse out my waist-length hair. It takes my former showerhead about 1-2 minutes to complete the task.
5) “Full Body” setting is the most disappointing of all the settings. The spray is not dense enough to cover the entire body nor it is powerful enough to provide an enjoyable shower experience.
6) “Powerpulse Massage®” setting will definitely soothe sore muscles. Aside from targeting soreness, the spray is too intense to be enjoyed comfortably while bathing.
Overall, this showerhead is a great, affordable option for those looking to improve water output.

Kind of disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Waterpik power pulse massage rain shower head looks good and is simple to install but, it lacks the intense water pressure of other Waterpik products. It has 6 spray settings with Waterpic’s optiflow technology system but just does not deliver what I am used too. My previous rain shower head (also a Waterpik) uses 2.0 GPM of water and on all settings it is invigorating when the water hits your skin. The new power pulse massage shower head uses 1.8 GPM of water and is weak when it hits your body. I take a 10 minute shower, so with my previous shower head I use 20 gallons of water every time I shower. With the new power pulse massage shower head using 1.8 GPM I use 18 gallons of water every time I shower, but it takes another minute or so to completely rinse off. When I do the math the new shower head uses the same amount of water but does not give you that same invigorating feeling. I put my old shower head back on to use and will save the new shower head for when new regulations go into place forcing me to use a 1.8 GPM shower head.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful Showerhead!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shower head is multifunctional. Appreciate the fact that the switch to choose settings is smooth and easy to operate during the shower. Love that the settings range from your standard relaxing shower to a more powerful massage like setting to soothe your muscles. Was much bigger than expected and installed within minutes.

And with 6 different modes, there’s a setting for everyone. My partner enjoys the strong, targeted PowerSpray mode. Installation was a breeze and it matches our decor perfectly.

I would recommend this item to anyone who has back issues.
