Want to return but can't get Singer to respond to my emails!

Machine has an issue with the top tension. Tried to contact Singer for the issue and never heard back so bought another machine elsewhere. I have tried to contact Singer 3 times now to return and can't get them to respond with a return authorization so I can get my money back.

My Singer Fashion Mate 3342 is an awesome machine since I'm a 1st time user. I've been helping make mask, I've made my own pillow, I'm learning how to make a dress. I mostly am learning so I can make my own Cosplay outfits & fun Nerdy originals that no one else will have.

We bought this sewing machine for my 10 year old and I know very little about sewing machines. I was worried that I would not be able to help her to get started but this machine has been amazing! We have not had any troubles. It was easy to get going and we are really enjoying learning together. We searched many different kinds and read every review and it was hard to figure out what to get. I am so glad that we got this machine. It is wonderful!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the Singer Fashion Mate for my 10 year old granddaughter. It lasted just beyond the 90 day warranty when the timing went out. This is a major repair costing more than the machine is worth. It has plastic parts, is difficult to thread, the bobbin tension is difficult to manage and the presser foot is very difficult to change. Overall it is a very poorly designed and made machine. I have a 50 year old singer machine that runs like a charm and is so easy to use and manage. I would never recommend this machine and would give it no stars if that were possible.

Aweful from start to finish. Everything threaded with ease but the back stitching is awful awful awful. I went from a brother to a singer and I'll be going back. Maybe I am just used to my other but this was nothing but a headache.

bobbin holder comes out of place every few minutes, have to take off the cover, take out the bobbin, take out the holder, take five mins to get it in properly , put bobbin back in, put cover back on, I don't even put the screws back as I have to do it so often
Cons: Difficult To Use, Limited Function, Not Durable
