This is my grab and go choice for quilting and sewing meet ups with my friends at JoAnn's weekly. It is lightweight, dependable and a joy to sew with. I have a much more expensive machine that stays at home, but I grab this little one for quick repairs at home also.
I recently purchased this machine and I am very pleased with it. It is very easy to operate. The price was very reasonable. It even came with a cover for it to keep dust off when not in use. I was especially pleased because that it is a Singer. Singer makes good machines.
I'm a beginner sewer and I absolutely love my singer. I watched a video and it was very easy to follow. I'm looking forward to making quilts, little clothes as starter, pillows and anything else my singer will allow me to do.
I love this sewing machine! Even though the bobbin sometimes gets tangled it is easy to fix! I have done a ton of sewing projects with the machine already as a new mom and it has been perfect! I have even done projects where I invented my own sample and it came together very nicely!
haven't used a machine in 30 years, wanted something easy to use. not tech savvy so this machine is just right for me. I have made 2 outfits so far and plans for more. I've had no problems with this machine.
I am using it for some basic quilting & sewing classes so it is okay since it is light weight and has the basics. My largest issue is the needle threader not working properly & it is difficult to use .
Pros: Easy To Use, light weight & easy travel
Cons: Limited Function, the needle threader is difficult to use
I have only had it for 2 weeks, but it seems like a decent machine for the price. The online tutorials are quite helpful. They show you how to thread it, and change presser feet, and more.
